HI! My name is Marissa, and I'm 20 years old. I'm a mom to a wonderful 16 month old boy (his name will be known as Bean. We've been calling him Bean since we got pregnant because in his first ultrasound he was as big as a baked bean.) and a wife to a very loving Husband (who shall simply be known as Hubs).
Anyway, we are a small little family from Ontario, Canada. And as you'll quickly learn about us Ontarians, we hate the cold of winter and hate the warm of summer, but we refuse to move anywhere else.
Recently I've found that I've got a lot of spare time on my hands, now that Bean is 16 months old. I don't go back to school until October, and apart from taking Bean to and from playgroups, or going to work while he's at said playgroups, I really have nothing to fill my time with. So what better way to waste some time than to blog!
So, here we are.
What will I blog about? That's a great question, reader! I'll mainly just write stuff about the day or the week depending on how long I go between posts. I'll also add some recipes, because I've been experimenting a lot recently. Remember what I said about having too much free time? Bean and Hubs are also very picky eaters, so it's very hard to find tasty dinners that they'll actually eat.
Basically, if you like talking about Netflix shows, Music, Harry Potter, and parenting, then we will get along just fine.
On that note, I just started watching Queer Eye, and it is fabulous! I love seeing the Fab 5 making people happy! I can't watch it and not cry! They help so many people, not just the person they're making over. It's so nice! But Queer Eye for the Straight Guy will definitely remain as the standing Queen of makeover shows!
My go-to show will always be Gilmore Girls, though. Unless I've already binged through it, then it will be Full House (though I'm not sure if I like Fuller House or not, I think it sort of ruins the old show, y'know?).
So, not the longest of blog posts, but I can't think of anything else to say. I guess we'll just get to know each other better in time.
