So, about a month ago, I wrote a post about the summer wardrobe we planned on buying for Bean. And honestly, I can't believe we wanted to get SO MUCH! We did end up ordering online, between 2 stores, but much, much less. I do still stand by wanting more for good reason (toddlers are MESS makers and ruin clothes faster than blinking), but we can wait to get more for when it's needed.

However, I am absolutely in love with his new summer clothes! From his super cute t-shirts, his adorable shorts and his dinosaur-centric muscle tees, he could honestly not look any cuter. But, to top off all of that, we also added 2 pairs of adorable PJ's, a hat, socks and sunglasses (which he finds funny to put on and take off).

He currently has:

  • 10 short sleeve Tshirts
  • 7 pairs of shorts
  • 5 long sleeve Tshirts
  • 4 pairs of PJ's
  • 3 sleeveless muscle tees
  • 3 pairs of pants
  • 2 pairs of shoes
  • 1 hat
  • 1 pair of sunglasses
  • and endless socks!

This child could honestly not look any cuter!

We only bought him 3T's in clothes and socks, and even though people told me they'd be too big, I'm so glad I listened to my Mommy Gut because they fit like a charm! His shoes, however, are a toddler size 7, and they have about half a thumb of growth room. His other shoes are a toddler size 6, but only just fit. So, we only use them when the walk will be muddy.

As well as that, against people saying that we should just buy Walmart and Joe Fresh, we went with Carter's/OshKoshB'gosh and The Children's Place. A lot of people would think we did that for brand, but quite honestly, when you have a bigger kid who needs sizes that will absolutely fit him, you need to buy from a store that you know will fit. I find that Walmart and JF fit rather small on Bean, but I've never had any problems with Carter's or TCP, hence why we chose there. Shoes, however, we can get anywhere.

But that's all for now. Hotter, sweatier, stickier days are coming, and so are melted ice pops, spilled juice boxes and wet sand, ruining clothes forever.

Look out for baby/child shows coming your way, such as Outlast Outplay Outgrow, which we will 100% be attending this year!

Anyway, that's all from us today!

From our world, to yours,
Happy Summer!
